Description
To pick up your Emergency Kit, you must fill out this form and bring it with you to Carter’s Pharmacy at the time of pick-up. One kit per person based on pharmacy guidelines.
This kit includes:
- Silvadene: Use for burns. To be applied immediately a few times a day to help prevent infection, help with pain and limit scarring. This is NOT meant for severe burns that affects several layers of the skin. Sick attention immediately, if a large area is affected or the area appears to be deep. Anything over the hands/face/ joints is a medical emergency and you should go to the ER.
- Bacitracin: Use for bites/scrapes to keep them from getting infected after the area has been thoroughly cleaned.
- Zofran: Use for nausea/sea sickness.
- Loperamide: Use for acute diarrhea for short-term use. If bloody stool DO NOT use this and seek care immediately.
- Azithromycin: Antibiotic used for sinus infections.
- Macrobid: Emergent use for urinary tract infection
- Ibuprofen: Use for pain/fever
