Description
To pick up your Emergency Kit, you must fill out this form and bring it with you to Carter’s Pharmacy at the time of pick-up. One kit per person based on pharmacy guidelines.
This kit includes:
- Diflucan: Use this when itching is associated with a white cottage cheese-like discharge. Please note, vaginal itching DOES NOT always mean yeast. It could be common bacterial vaginosis or worse a sexually transmitted disease. This should be used if Monistat over the counter has not helped.
- Macrobid: For women who suffer from urinary tract infections or even bladder infections associated with intercourse. This is only to be used when you cannot access a provider to get your urine checked to ensure no other infections are present.
- Zofran: As needed for nausea per instructions on the bottle.
- Boric Acid: This is a must-have staple in the home for women. This is for bacterial vaginosis (clear fishy vaginal discharge) that has been ruled out for any other sexually transmitted disease. This is chronic in nature most of the time. It occurs most notably after or before a menstrual cycle when the pH of the vagina changes. It can occur commonly after intercourse i.e. sex). THIS IS ONLY USED VAGINALLY. DO NOT TAKE ORALLY.
- Ibuprofen: Used for menstrual cramps, pain, or fever.
